Grand Master You Xuande

You Xuande, is the Grand Master of the Wudang Sanfeng Sect, and has an acclaimed reputation in Taoism and Wudang Kung Fu in his homeland of China, throughout Asia,  and abroad.

As he has become more well known in the West, many people have travelled to Wudang and visit him, mostly in vain as he is often teaching or elsewhere. This is why he has a reclusive reputation and some individuals even think of him as an immortal. It is not hard to see why when you observe Master You’s youthful appearance and unwrinkled features.

When he was young, he was introduced to basic Kungfu skills. By the time he reached the age of 18, he began his journey to many famous martial Arts villages throughout China to visit  the then famous Kungfu masters.

After meeting Master Wang Weizhe, a disciple of Wudang Songxi Sect, he realised the many benefits of Wudang Internal Kungfu that he became so obsessed  that he decided to leave for Mount Wudang where he studied to become a Taoist priest.

At Wudang, he was fortunate to learn from Yu Daoming and Zhu Chengde, both of whom were superb Wundang Kungfu Masters and now following in their path, Master You continues to spread the teachings of Wudang worldwide through South Wudang Taoist Association.

Therefor his proper title is:

“Dong Tian Zhen Ren, Zhang Men Ren”
