Taoist Elder You Xuande is a famous master of martial arts among Chinese martial arts field, and a leader of Taoism who has influenced widely all over the world. He has students and disciples in China and other 52 countries of the world. He has often been abroad to visit, such as the USA, Italy, Germany, France, Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, Korea, Thailand, and cities like Hong Kong and Taiwan. Being a 14th generation descendent of Wudang Tai Chi Chuan, he is a famous master of martial arts and representative of Wudang Wushu in China.

Wudang Mountain is a famous sacred place of Taoism in China. In the Song Dynasty, the great master Zhang Sanfeng watched a bird and a snake fight in Wudang Mountain one day.
Late in the night in his dream a heavenly presence Emperor Xuan demonstrated to him the fundamental movements of Taijiquan He then understood by meditation the theory of Yin and Yang of Taoism, imitated movements and abstracted ideas.

He founded Wudang sect and has been declared an Immortal. He was regarded as the common founder of all Taijiquan  sects in China. Wudang Kungfu became world-famous, and till now the martial arts field holds the tradition that “In the South Wudang is revered, and in the North Shaolin has great importance”.
